Websites need upkeep. Without updates and backups they slow down, break and become easy targets. I look after the technical side — WordPress or otherwise — so your site stays fast, safe and current without you thinking about it.
What is included
- updates to WordPress, theme and plugins, tested before they go live;
- security monitoring, and protection against intrusions and spam;
- regular backups, with fast restore when something goes wrong;
- performance checks, and fixes when speed drops;
- small changes: content edits, new pages, tweaks.
Why it matters
An unmaintained WordPress site is the easiest target there is: one outdated plugin is enough. Cleaning up after a hack — restoring, rebuilding, waiting for Google to trust you again — costs far more than a monthly check-up.
Taking over someone else’s site
I can take over a site I did not build, after a diagnosis: state of the backups, risky plugins, PHP version, real-world speed. You get the findings either way, even if you decide not to work with me.
